I wrote this some time in August of 2011. I remembered it being a Friday night, possibly the day that I either don't have class on, or I came back from college early, as I was working on it from 5pm till 3 in the morning.

It began as an idea that morphed into, eventually, my inner sorrow. When it comes to my feelings, I'm quite reserved. It took me several months to realize that this song was about me, and not just a bunch of random ideas being put together (although initially this song was just a bunch of ideas).

the vividness of the picture i painted

where will i go from here

sitting in the dark without a slight of bravery ahead of me
now i'm stuck in a corner begging for mercy

when will i get out of this empty room

how should i start over, freshly anew
