Wrote the lyrics on Monday, got the melody idea on Wednesday.

It's about losing something precious and constantly being reminded of it every night, but instead of feeling it's the worse thing that could've happened to you, you'd settle with it anyway....because it's better than nothing.

Kinda like Bella Swan committing suicide just to hear Edward's voice nagging her to stop being so stupid. ...umm yea.
